Samsung Electronics has received Carbon Reduction Certification for its Neo TVs, including QLED, OLED, and Lifestyle 2024 models, from TÜV Rheinland.
This certification acknowledges the reduction in carbon footprint compared to the previous year’s models, highlighting Samsung’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions annually.
In addition to this product certification, Samsung Visual Display Business has obtained the industry’s first „Product Carbon Footprint Calculation Method” certification from TÜV Rheinland. This certification ensures that greenhouse gas emissions are measured and managed throughout the entire product lifecycle, following specific regulations and guidelines to ensure transparent and reproducible results.
Furthermore, Samsung is expanding its collaboration with Tesla through SmartThings Energy to achieve Net Zero Home. This integration allows for the seamless inclusion of Tesla’s solar inverter and universal wall connector into the SmartThings Energy ecosystem.
