The Pastel Association, in collaboration with ParkLake Shopping and Carrefour Romania, hosted an incredible first outing to the cinema for 100 lucky pupils from Călărași County.

The children in this community have the chance to broaden their horizons! More than half of them have never had the chance to go to the theatre or watch a movie at the cinema.

It’s so important for children to have new experiences! They play a huge part in how children develop emotionally and cognitively. It’s amazing how each new experience, like watching a movie in the cinema for the first time, helps children to form strong memories and grow in a happy, healthy way!

The amazing „Premiere of Childhood” initiative started with gifts from Carrefour Romania. Then, the little ones from Secondary School no.1 Nicolae Bălcescu experienced the magic of the fantastic cinema movie „Inside Out 2”, an animation that explores the varied spectrum of a teenager’s emotions.

After the movie, the kids enjoyed a delicious lunch, where they got to share their thoughts and feelings with their teachers, organizers, and volunteers from the Pastel Association. The cinema experience and lunch were provided by ParkLake Shopping Center.
