Orange Romania campaigns to encourage the efficient use of technology and safety on the Internet and continued efforts to reduce its carbon footprint, carrying forward, at a sustained pace, its „Re” circular economy program.
Through the „Re” – Buy-Back, Recycling, Repair and Refurbishment program, the company collected about 50,000 phones this quarter, which will be put back into circulation.
The effort was marked by Orange volunteers, who planted the „Re” Forest (5000 trees) on an area of 1 hectare. Also as part of the „Re” program, 15,000 phones were brought back to life in Orange Care Centers.
In terms of internet safety, Orange ran the „More room for trust” campaign, which highlighted online dangers and offered customers protection solutions.
Orange created the Safe Zone, a support space against cyberbullying, and 7,000 young people, including 5,000 students from Digitaliada schools, participated in cyberbullying webinars.
