MOL Romania and the Community Foundation awarded for the 13th consecutive year, the Mentor Awards for excellence in education.

The award is publicly recognizing the value and results of the teaching activity of the ten exceptional laureates, teachers and coaches from all over the country. The Mentor Awards was organized on April 26 in Timișoara, the European Capital of Culture.

The laureates, who were nominated for this distinction by their students and by the parents of the students, were each awarded with a trophy made by the glass artist Ioan Nemțoi and with a prize worth 8,000 lei (about 1700 euros).

The Mentor Award for Excellence in Education has been awarded annually since 2010 to teachers and coaches who have discovered talented young people, guided them from the beginning of their careers, and played an important role in the professional development of their students.
